    President Trump

@realDonaldTrump? :-) TBH - the bulk of current Republicans are so drunk on MAGA Kool-Aid - that each time Trump fails to win the Nobel peace prize, it's due to a rigged process - and somehow Obama is to blame.

Cheers. Hyperbole on my part. Yet, in that context, any trophy whatsoever isn't "meaningless" - including the Community Shield. Yes the CS is a trophy - but no side seems to take this game seriously - instead putting out sides designed to evaluate players. The League Cup is an actual...

    >> 3 main trophies... P/L title IMO is more important. C/L IMO is more important. FA Cup IMO is more important. And Club WC - given the new format - is more important - although this now does not occur every year. For me, and though you may disagree, the League Cup is 5th best... and to be...

Cheers. Pep is playing a strong side every game in this competition - unlike Liverfail. So our club does care about this competition.

Cheers. I started routing for City in late 2009 or early 2010. And I'm an American. I do not have this pre-2010 history of City in mind. As for, "that sort of arrogance is more in line with supporters of our more entitled opponents"... are you really happy with a side that qualifies for the...

    16 | Rodri 2025/26

Kalvin is for whatever reason never almost never played. Pep doesn't trust him at all it seems. As for Rodri - beats me whether or not he recovers from his worst case ACL injury - I very much hope he does. Meanwhile, the only DM I trust when Rodri can't play is Nico G. ... and once NG is...

Cheers. Pep is playing a strong side each time in this competition unlike Liverfail - we're out to win it.

Disagree about Arsenal. Arsenal are almost never, ever, ever giving up goals - watch their matches. And in spite of numerous injuries - the Arsenal machine marches on. If you somehow think that Arsenal aren't going to win the league by a huge margin - then you've obviously not watched...

+1 Winning the League Cup isn't entirely meaningless... my point is, that in the scheme of things... it's not nearly as prestigious as the FA Cup (for me by a wide margin) which is the most comparable trophy on offer. Silverware is nice - but I'd rather finish 3rd in the P/L with no trophies...

Your expectations for our side are far lower than mine, friend - if that sort of performance qualifies as reasonably successful. Top 4 in the P/L is a baseline requirement - fail to achieve this and it's a disastrous season. From there - we should expect to win one of the P/L, C/L or F/A cup...

Bask in the glory of a side winning the fucking League Cup if you will - how fantastic! How awesome! How great! What a season!!! Meanwhile, I'd rather fucking win a real trophy - the P/L, the C/L or the FA cup.

Winning this trophy is meaningless - there's zero prestige. It's like winning the FA Community Shield. Who cares?

Probably this is out best chance at silverware... but honestly, I couldn't care less about this trophy. Win the league. Win the C/L. Win the F/A cup. Everything else is a participation trophy.

Will we win the league this season?

I've watched nearly all Arsenal P/L matches. That you think they're not the best side in the P/L by some distance - I 100% disagree. Arsenal are always solid on defense and the opposition never looks like scoring. Meanwhile Arsenal are often questionable going forward, at least against top...

    10 | Rayan Cherki - 2025/26

Remember when Tevez was in our side? Remember the tidy one-two touches he had with David Silva to break a low block and get a great shot on goal sometimes leading to a score? We've lacked that sort of offense for a long, long while. Might it - however, resurface with Cherki and Foden and...

    21 | Rayan Ait-Nouri - 2025/26

Ait Nouri is a great dribbler. Going forward/inside he can cause the opposition trouble. But he's not a good defender. Yet, against Swansea, Pep played him wide and apparently instructed him to stay wide. Robbing AN of his best skillset while simultaneously exposing his defensive weakness...

    President Trump

Dude who aced an "IQ test" - which in fact is likely a medically warranted cognitive disability test (supposedly, we're left taking his word for it) - has the fucking nuclear codes. And now orders resumption of nuclear weapons testing. === I applaud the tough stance on Russia - but nuclear...

    14 | Nico Gonzalez - 2025/26

+1 That said, and though you may disagree - how likely is it that Rodri will recover from the worst possible ACL injury he suffered? And even if he eventually returns to a level approaching his world best form - how long is that going to take? And meanwhile, we have as backup, Nico G., who is...
