This forum isn't titled "Fan Boys - Praise Our Players' Latest Performance"... it's an actual critique forum - where points both good and bad are advanced. So go on - state your argument for a player - and then see how it resonates. Perhaps you'll agree with the posts in such threads...

I do not think so. Trump comes up with numerous insane ideas - but all of them fit well into the context of his base - in other words, completely insane on the surface - but actually very popular among his base. He seems to advance crazy ideas only if his base either immediately accepts his...

Yeah - but if that's Trump's actual motivation - he's batshit crazy - which, though I hate him - I do not for a second think that he is.

Does anyone have an explanation about why Trump is massively anti-Venezuela? Attacking small boats off the coast of Venezuela and claiming that they're involved in illegal drug smuggling without proof. And apparently sanctioning CIA ground-based operations inside Venezuela... which ultimately...

    TV Series

The Residence on Netflix. It's a comedy about a possible murder/suicide committed in the US White House. At times, it's absolutely hilarious. But often the jokes slightly missed for me. The acting and "who dunnit" mystery kept me watching. 8/10 - recommended.

    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2025/26

And you are at least suspect of this assertion. So go on, you tell me. Absent a definitive list... is it your position that in fact Nunes does not make a bonehead foul or pass deep in our territory leading to a dangerous free kick or scoring opportunity on average once per game, on current...

I like Nunes too. Of all our players, I think that Nunes is our best RB most of the time (arguably Khsonav is better) - unless we have complete control of the ball and need not worry on defense - in which case I prefer Lewis for his ball control and better passing ability (although I do not...

Cheers. We agree to disagree then. As for quoting one website - it took forever to find a single website with a reasonable 2025/2026 top 10 RB ranking. If you google instead, top 5 right backs in the P/L in 2025/2026, you'll find a bunch of quality posts, none of which list Nunes. As I've...

An awesome argument. Completely free of facts in support of your conclusion. FFS - if I'm dead wrong... as you suggest - surely you can provide a better rebuttal. As for Donnarumma - I've already stated why I thought the way I did about his being a disaster signing for us - and I've already...

    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2025/26

Awesome. I've already provided several lists of top right backs in the P/L. Nunes appeared as number 10 in one of those lists. Go ahead and provide your list of top right backs in the P/L. Where does Nunes appear in your list? If Nunes isn't top 5 at least in your list - do you still think...

    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2025/26

Not at all. I actually like Nunes as a squad player. Not as a starter. And yet, he is our first choice RB for now... and for me... that's a big problem. And, if my arguments are bullshit, then stats will prove otherwise.

    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2025/26

When was his last completely unnecessary foul deep in our side leading to a dangerous free kick? When was his last extremely poor pass intercepted leading to defensive chaos? How often does he make these mistakes? Do you honestly think that this isn't a problem? That Nunes is A-OK as a...

Jurrien Timber (Arsenal) – 82% Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace) – 77% Pedro Porro (Tottenham Hotspur) – 68% Kenny Tete (Fulham) – 66% Joel Veltman (Brighton) – 64% Matty Cash (Aston Villa) – 64% Reece James (Chelsea) – 62% Kyle Walker-Peters (West Ham United) – 61% Trai Hume (Sunderland) – 60%...

    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2025/26

We agree to disagree then. Nunes isn't gifted with the ability to dribble past most opponents. Nunes can't make a consistent killer pass. When in a crossing position, Nunes isn't above average, but he's OK. Whereas on defense, Nunes works his ass off. Is at least mostly in position. And...

    10 | Rayan Cherki - 2025/26

+1 Let's for sure start Cherki as often as possible - the guy has enormous talent. If he doesn't work out... then... no big loss. We didn't overpay for him and can move him on/loan him if necessary.

    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2025/26

Cheers - I'm not backing this list full out. My point is that any random list of top P/L right backs won't include Nunes... because he's not a top right back. I value Nunes as a squad player - but as a candidate/favorite to start at RB... no way he's near good enough for a side hoping to win...

    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2025/26

Nunes isn't a natural RB - he's been asked to fill in at that position and he's done OK mostly. At RB, Nunes' strength is defensive solidity. He's a very capable defender, he's above average size and will bully smaller attackers, and he can read the game defensively - getting into position at...

    10 | Rayan Cherki - 2025/26

Cherki is a wild card. So much potential. But he's had issues in his past that have limited his playing time under other managers. It will be fascinating to see if Pep can get the best out of Cherki while overcoming the issues that past managers have decided not to feature him.

    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2025/26

So... it seems that you think that Nunes is a top 10 P/L RB... and that Lewis isn't better. And then, you've made a remarkable post - indicating that I'm embarrassing myself for presumably not ranking Nunes in the top 10 RB's in the P/L... without actually posting your top 10 right backs. I...

    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2025/26

Good list. And yet, numerous posters on this forum suggest that Nunes is excellent; certainly, they suggest, we'd be stupid to trade him for anyone but Livramento. === For what it's worth, I think that Nunes is our best RB. At the same time, I think that he's no where near the quality we need...
