PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I was talking to a mate about that. Told him who I fancied to win it. He said “Uranus? My arse…”

Blue Moon Podcast: United and Napoli victories, Ricky Hatton's legacy, insight into Arsenal, and badge-kissing celebrations

Pretty sure Clive Allen kissed the badge away at Wimbledon in Sep/Oct 1990. He came on as a second half sub and scored within five minutes from a corner. I remember it as I’d just moved to London.

Bloke next to me said the same thing. Not a peep out of them after Foden scored.

That’s a brilliant photo. Two of the back four going forwards, the other two going backwards.

He might have a point. Perhaps after spunking a shitload of money on all that crap they couldn’t afford him.

Well apart from that, the only thing they've got left is "we used to be good in the 90s."

    25 | Gianluigi Donnarumma - 2025/26

One thing I think hasn't been said about Donnarumma: he is intelligent. Like a lot of Guardiola signings - Bernie, Gundo, Reijnders, EH etc. He plainly prefers to work with players for who using their head means more than being good at corners. I think Donnarumma will fit in just fine.

I've gone for Haaland because, well, two goals against the scum. But for me there are at least three other contenders. Foden was excellent, some lovely touches and combination plays as well as his workrate and of course that crucial opening goal. Doku had one of his best games in a CIty shirt...

    25 | Gianluigi Donnarumma - 2025/26

We have probably got the best combination of No 1 and No 2 Keepers in the country, and possibly the world. If Pickford got injured tomorrow it's 50/50 that Trafford would be England's first choice keeper.

    25 | Gianluigi Donnarumma - 2025/26

Absolutely. At 2-1 they would have the wind in their sails and we would be nervous for the last 30 minutes or whatever it was. One of those saves most keepers don’t make. He wasn’t too shabby with his feet, either.
