Has no-one been watching PMQ the last few years? Avoiding answering the question has become normal. https://www.nationalworld.com/news/uk-news/boris-johnson-told-to-answer-questions-in-one-third-of-pmqs-so-far-this-year-3299708...

Well, it was a stupid question. Unless you believe Cartlidge didn't know about the latest mistaken discharge. Honestly.

    Referees' Performances | 2025/26

Excellent Obvious dissent so obvious yellow. Couldn't fault ref tonight- maybe the early foul on Savinho might have been red for denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity. But he wasn't buying any playacting.

Emotional? Tory minister opposite him at PMQ James Cartlidge asks him to apologise to family of girl assaulted by the now-deported asylum seeker, Lammy says we said sorry in an earlier debate. Then Cartlidge asks him if he can guarantee no other asylum seekers have been mistakenly released...

    Stephen Yaxley-Lennon

Has he said anything about the only Muslim immigrant involved in the train stabbings being the guard who tried to stop the assailant? (I'm not sure whether it's confirmed either that he was Muslim or an immigrant - it only seems to be Muslim sites reporting it.)

Having heard an interview with a legal "reviewer" of how the draconian legislation can work and how it could be abused, I can understand the acquittal on failing to provide his phone info - but having stopped him, they discovered he was taking out more than the £10,000 cash limit - has he got...

    The Labour Government

As Reform has already junked its manifesto for the last election (and for Pochin's election by six votes in Runcorn) with its promised tax cuts, "what Reform could do" has been proved to be "say anything to get elected".

I think that was that when you add in education, health care, and other "benefits" funded by taxes, most people are net beneficiaries of the system (i.e. most get more value than they pay in taxes) while only a minority pay more tax than they get out of the system.

    The Conservative Party

The good MPs Johnson sacked, the bad ones are off to Reform, leaving the likes of Philp in shadow roles.

Middle East Conflict | Netanyahu orders strikes on Gaza (p1161)

You certainly can't trust an interpretation of the Bible that says Trump bombing Iran was in a bit of the Bible written over 2000 years ago.

    The Labour Government

"Cheap labour facilitates labour intensive roles which absolutely reduces UK productivity". Not if it enables a firm to start up and produce something that wasn't being produced before. Test question: are Just Eat and Deliveroo good for UK productivity?
  13. V

    The Labour Government

That's one view... Yet farmers and anyone else looking for people to do work that the local population won't do will likely say that "cheap" foreign workers work harder and for longer hours, so how is that not helping productivity? Personally, I don't think the productivity calculations always...

I've no idea what evidence you have for any of that. Who on earth is replacing capital intensive jobs with labour intensive jobs?

So no immigration. no poor parents, and even fewer people in the future to pay for the previous generation's pensions.

Huntingdon Train Incident - Reports of multiple stabbings

I hope it was intended as satire. It doesn't work when it was Tommy Robinson's go-to response.
