Trying to make sense of that diagram,is there only one exit to the GA concourse,seems a lot of people converging onto the concourse from the same exit, the higher one.So does the lower exit only go to the hospitality ( Cross bar).In which case. It makes no difference really where the GA + rows...

Think thats better myself, especially if you want those seated close to the standing areas to join in. And IMO it’s people close to the standing joining in and maybe standing more that will be one of the drivers that encourage the club to convert more seats to rail seats.

So then there’d have been no standing at all near the front, thought your objection was having the standing at the top of the new tier. As it is if the 3000 are extended it will be from the back and eat into those 14 rows anyway.

Is it not simply you can’t have fans sitting behind those standing? Suppose you could have had all the rail seats to one side ,there still have been half of them towards the back though.

The few GA+ seats don’t make the slightest difference to anything. The North stand will be a blue wall if the fans make it so , down to fans. Any groups of fans wanting to move to the new stand and stand or sit together can contact the club and make arrangements.

Nothing to stop groups of fans that want to stand together and forming a singing section contacting the club and asking to be stood together. The club have fitted 3000 standing sets and offered them to 1894 who for whatever reasons declined. Maybe the club can publicise it to fans but really now...
