I don’t do that, and agree that people deploy that approach too readily, and as I said I rarely do it, but when presented with a statistic that is contrary to your lived experience it’s perfectly normal to question it.

I expect his compensation will already have been awarded, at least in principle. Pretty straightforward claim I’d say. The amount of that compensation won’t be affected by how upset he is, as that will be a given. It will be based on a matrix around his age, earning capacity, dependents etc…...
