Not at our sparkling best and there are definitely lots of things to still work on, but for the 24/25 season this is pretty good. Working hard and making chances. Just need to be more clinical and less sloppy.

It's not a surprise that Palace are fast and strong and particularly good on the wings. Astonishing that we've prepared for that by leaving the wings entirely empty.

Unfortunately it was a game that probably needed about 5 subs all at once. Hard for one to make a difference when the whole setup wasn't working.

He wasn't the problem today. Early days but I think he's going to be good for us. Like any player he can't do it on his own, though.
