Texted my ( kopite ) mate earlier - told him it's natural for players to want to play for the big clubs !! Am sure he swore :-)

    Gigs Thread

I wasn't there but read a few reviews. Last time I went there was a grab a granny night or Icicle Works gig in mid 80s when I used to visit Manchester quite a lot

Mick hinted at new music in a recent interview - I think Ian Skelly was a great choice for drums. Glad you enjoyed it, nice if they did a bigger tour maybe in Autumn

    Hillsborough - 36 years ago today (P4)

The youngest victim was 10 and the oldest was 67, with the average age being around 23. Imagine that today with social media and all the evidence that would be almost instantaneous. Fans were treated like cattle and we've all been in similar crowds and experiences.

    Hillsborough - 36 years ago today (P4)

Was meant to be at the other semi final at Villa Park that day but was working in a homeless place in Portsmouth. Remember running into lounge and just watching this mad scenario unfolding as the afternoon wore on. Made worse by fact I had mates there, and travelling up to Sheffield the next day...

He usually does the business when needed, away from the publicity stuff he's an half decent bloke ( for a kopite). He's not the world's greatest fighter but you can't knock him for courage.

Dispatches/Sunday Times investigation: Russell Brand accused of rape and sexual assault

I remember my ex telling me she shagged him, went downhill quickly after that. I'd have respected her more if she shagged Les Dennis !!

    Alcohol, hints, tips, advice etc.

We often give ourselves a harder time than anyone else would ever do. Getting away from people and the city life can eliminate a lot of anxiety and stress. Sitting on a hill or mountain and contemplating your life can be great therapy. I'm very lucky I live 10 mins walk from the sea but also...
