    Albania v England - Sun 16th Nov, 17:00 | World Cup Qualifier

Burn is playing well in the PL and CL for Newcastle which is a much higher level than most international matches. Not saying he's world class but he is good enough to be in the England squad. International football is sub-standard apart from the very late stages of the Euros and the World Cup.

Debbie Harry. Saw her live at Salford Uni. Bloody hell.

It’s surprising how hung up people are on the legal niceties of the “Genocide” label. I’m sure the poor victims are not concerned by such nuance. Why not just call it slaughter. Because that’s what it is. I think politicians like to hide behind the Genocide debate and the lawyers keep making...

    Red Cafe in meltdown

Lovely to see that yesterday. We hammered the Rags again. We have broken them. But always remember:”Liverpool are their real rivals” Happy days.

I suspect this panel only investigates decisions affecting LFC or MUFC.

Liverpool (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

The three officials who were there, and their boss Howard Webb, all said Robertson was interfering with play as soon as he ducked. If he doesn't duck right in front of the keeper the goal doesn't happen. Then we have a four-day media storm (driven by LFC PR people) and the refs' panel do what...

I think we all know how the neutrals are reacting. I sat next to three "neutrals" in my local on Friday and couldn't help listening in. One was a rag and, as far as I could tell the other two were Preston North End. The conversation started with the rag fan: "I don't care who wins the league as...

That’s a hilarious video. The best bit is where he says Oliver was paid by City’s owners… to ref in Saudi Arabia. Of course:”Those Arabs are all the same aren’t they?”

The BBC | Tim Davie resigns as Director General over Trump documentary edit (p 187)

That is what I believe will happen. The BBC will do well if they end up paying a relatively small amount to a charity of Trump' choosing. They can't afford to play roulette with public money. Anything under £1m would be a good result because if it does drag on the costs would rocket very...

The BBC | Tim Davie resigns as Director General over Trump documentary edit (p 187)

They will struggle to sustain the mistake narrative. I’m sure they will not follow your considered advice. They compounded the situation by also broadcasting the fabricated comments on Newsnight. Let’s see what happens.

The BBC | Tim Davie resigns as Director General over Trump documentary edit (p 187)

The most likely outcome is the BBC will have to settle on a lower sum. What happened was "not a mistake" as the BBC PR people are trying to push. The speech was edited mid sentence by Panorama to damage Trump. And an almost identical edit was made on the same speeh for a Newsnight programme. The...

Another coup for Pep. He seems to have sorted our left back problem. Nico is great. Thanks to world class coaching and a perfect attitude from Nico. Bloody hell our academy is fantastic. Our kids are all over the world at the elite level.

Perhaps not but they have huge website figures.

We have managed to be the leading scorers in English football pretty much for the last ten years. Meanwhile Andy Cole still can’t get a job in football. Probably because he’s a moron

When does the club take a stand?

This is true. There is no point pursuing idiots like Pennant. However we should have taken selective action against some of the big boys like the BBC, Daily Mail, because they have huge audiences and have peddled lies which have damaged us.

The BBC | Tim Davie resigns as Director General over Trump documentary edit (p 187)

It’s not about Trump. You can dislike Trump and the BBC at the same time. The BBC has been biased for years. How many other quotes have they fabricated. Their coverage of City has been totally distorted and dishonest. I would keep it for drama and news but couldn’t care less if it was broken up...

The BBC | Tim Davie resigns as Director General over Trump documentary edit (p 187)

If he wanted Trump could sue the BBC anywhere in the world where the clip was used though not areas where it was out of time. Very unlikely. The fact that a second clip was shown on Newsnight must make the BBC a bit nervous. Suggestions being pushed out that what happened was “a mistake” are...

Etihad Stadium to host 5 Euro 2028 games

Agreed. But some sort of temporary fix will have to apply for the Euros. The rail system in the UK is a laughing stock. Most of Europe has a 24 hours a day high speed rail network and extensive local public transport in all major cities. It is also cheap to use in most locations. We are 30 to 40...

I agree.i think Geopolitics is more complex and nuanced. They tried to blame City for the Civil War in Yemen which was a fight between islamists and another fanatical faction. And of course the UK and US supply most of the weapons.
