    United (H) - Sun 14th Sept, 16:30 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Haaland has an unbelievable record in Derby matches. He will soon be our greatest ever scorer in games against United.

    United (H) - Sun 14th Sept, 16:30 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Good line-up. This should give more protection to the back four. United can only get a result if we let them break on us. They have not outplayed us in any match for more than a decade. We gifted the game to them last season. We will always outscore them. I am expecting us to win by at least...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The Glazer family were Texas oil barons. That is how they built their fortune. And of course United’s longest running sponsor is Saudi Telecom.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I think United increasingly tried to distance themselves from the poisonous briefings especially after Ratcliffe came in. Ferguson has always been pure poison off the field but these days has little influence. I heard a few years back that the biggest drivers were LFC, Arsenal, and Spurs...

Newcastle Have Done What City Should Be Doing

Probably a bit of both. If I can't attend or transfer my ticket to someone I put it on the club's seat exchange planner. In the old days I only ever sold my ticket at face value to a fellow Blue.

Chelsea hit with 74 FA charges for alleged rule breaches

I have no problem with Chelsea. I am glad they knocked United off their perch for a while. It is the corrupt PL leadership and their hypocrisy that bugs me most. Are we seriously expected to belive that LFC, MUFC, and AFC have not paid agents and players off book cash bonuses (to avoid tax)...

Chelsea hit with 74 FA charges for alleged rule breaches

The timing of these announcements by the PL seem very tactical. They have settled the APT case and now they are seen to be pursuing Chelsea properly. It is almost as if they are trying to soften the blow of being damaged in the 115 case. Comms people spend a lot of time thinking about the timing...

Chelsea hit with 74 FA charges for alleged rule breaches

And yet paying agents and players off books during transfer deals is about as bad as it gets in terms of sporting integrity. Not quite as bad as Juventus bribing refs and rival players to fix matches....but a lot worse than even the worst allegations against City that our owner allegedly topped...

    The Labour Government

I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you have no idea what Mandelson is like. He was sacked for corruption but that is the tip of a very large iceberg. I have a close relative who worked directly with him on overseas trade delegations. Mandelson’s friendship with Epstein was based...

    The Labour Government

You can’t seriously defend Starmer. We had the worst government in history for 14 years and Starmer has been a disaster so far. It is a systemic failure of our political system. I live in an area which has been abandoned by successive governments from all parties for decades. It is not a left v...

    The Labour Government

Are you suggesting it was a smart decision by Starmer to appoint Mandelson?
  12. B

    The Labour Government

Starmer has no political judgement at all. Appointing Mandelson was lunacy. He should have fired him days ago. He is totally incompetent. Boris, Liz Truss, and Starmer. How does our system elevate such imbeciles. Starmer has no leadership skills, no innovative ideas, no vision or strategy, and...

    How good was Yaya?!

KDB is also a very shy and humble person who was truly sensational for us. We have seen Bell, Ya Ya, David Silva (and Bernardo), KDB, and Rodri grace our stadium. These are some of the very best players in history. We are a very lucky fanbase to have seen them in their pomp. There is nothing...

    How good was Yaya?!

Bell was in a different league to Peters. Better in all areas. Peters was a clever player though and did find space on the pitch easily. In that regard he was similar to Frank Lampard (who was also better than Peters). In 68,69. and 70 Bell was easily one the best players in World Football. But...

    How good was Yaya?!

The TV coverage was a much higher standard than now. Lots of innovation and genuine expert analysis. Malcolm Allison and Brian Clough were fantastic entertainment. The pundits told you something you didn't know. It was a glorious era for football.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | Club & PL reach settlement | Proceedings dropped (p1147)

I think Stefan understandingly looks at the case in strictly legal terms. It is hard to disagree with his legal analysis. But the reputational battle is much broader.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | Club & PL reach settlement | Proceedings dropped (p1147)

Some of the APT1 evidence is in the public statement and it confirms we were treated unfairly.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | Club & PL reach settlement | Proceedings dropped (p1147)

The Judges may not have published their statement on 115 yet but City and the PL will be having constant discussions about how the aftermath of the decision is managed from a comms and PR perspective.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | Club & PL reach settlement | Proceedings dropped (p1147)

Roan is biased. Never writes stories about unnamed PL clubs who are concerned about the Arsenal Emirates deal or their interest free loans. Or United’s huge debts and Liverpool’s spending. We don’t get daily updates on the Chelsea fraud probe.

    How good was Yaya?!

Even the way Ya Ya ran was like Colin. Both incredible box to box players. I saw most of Bell’s games at Maine Road live. Can’t split them really.
