I thought he played well for the first 70 mins or so but tired after that, as did our wingers.

Played well today. He's a decent player when he has space to run at defences. His struggles have mainly been again low blocks where he doesn't have much space to run into.

On the whole we've played very well and each player has played his part. Just need to cut out some of the sloppy play. Their only real attacks have come from our poor passing, control and decision making. Savinho and Doku have both been lively and Foden has linked things well in the middle...

Would have liked to see the same 11 as against Bournemouth. Looks like wingers out wide again, which I'm not sure suits us but let's hope for the best anyway.

Doku is certainly more suited to the English game. Madrid have speed but lack technical ability when under pressure.

Real Madrid look to be very poor in the air. Actually look pretty poor all over.

Real Madrid have completely the wrong balance with playing Camavinga wide right. Weakens them centrally in midfield and means all their attacking has to come down their left. Very easy to defend against.

No pen and they don't get the free kick either ;-)
