    Aston Villa (A) - Sun 26th Oct, 14:00 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Doku helps much more in defence than Savinho. Doku's problem at Villarreal was losing balls instead of retaining possession.

    Aston Villa (A) - Sun 26th Oct, 14:00 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

I guess it will be 3-2-5 in attack: Donnarumma Matheus N. - Rúben - Gvardiol Stones - Bernardo Bobb - Reijnders - Foden - Savinho Haaland

    10 | Rayan Cherki - 2025/26

Two footed players I've seen: Jordi Cruijff, Luis García, Santi Cazorla, Pedro Rodríguez, Nico Oliveira, Paolo Maldini, Sergi Barjuán... not a common thing. I was awful playing football, but two footed, that's why I look that quality. Born right footed but with training became two footed (as...

    26 | Savinho - 2025/26

I think it has to be an agreetment with his agent: we don't sell to Spurs but you will get an improved extension contract. The thing is Savinho didn't gain that better contract in the field...

Not only that... they extended his contract...

    10 | Rayan Cherki - 2025/26

Cherki could start as RW and play half space in attack while Nunes push up as winger. Like Foden & Walker in 23/24 season.

    26 | Savinho - 2025/26

I'm a fan of positional play, I'd always play with small players who can combine in tight spaces as Barcelona's Guardiola did: Cherki, Foden, Bernardo, Bobb... for example, Doku is the opposite way, he runs with the ball alone, but creates lots of dangerous chances. Savinho doesn't.

    26 | Savinho - 2025/26

In terms of teamplay, Bobb combines much better with his teammates and creates more chances. Savinho only has one way: run with the ball. Bobb is more versatile. Stops play, pass at first touch, plays through balls, makes right decisions, dribbles in tight spaces... The unique thing Savinho is...

    26 | Savinho - 2025/26

Savinho also has to earn that. I don't agree he has contributed more.

    26 | Savinho - 2025/26

Let's play Bobb that 7 or 8 games. Savinho free games, free extended contract...

    52 | Oscar Bobb - 2025/26

Bobb can do all the things Savinho does; Savinho can't do all the things Bobb does. So simple as that.

    26 | Savinho - 2025/26

Can we just transfer him to another club? Can't believe they extended his contract, he simply is not good enough to play at Man City.

Rodri's sub? He looks like Vitinha style.

    Dani Olmo

I had doubts about this player. I'm Spanish, and he is doing a brilliant tournament. Very smart, always the right decision, good moves in the pockets, nice ball control... I want to see him under Pep.

    Joao Neves

Pep's attacking formation is always 3-2-5 (against 4 defenders) or 3-1-6 (against 5 defenders), while defensive formation is 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1. Kovacic stays in the double pivot along Rodri, so that's why Gvardiol has been a false winger. I mean he is not an extra pass. Just a more quality pass...

Ederson | Deal agreed with Fenerbahce

I agree with all your comments. For me Ederson is a LEGEND. That's why I can't understand selling our best GK at 30 years old to Arabia. No sense. So I think it has to be because of his reaction against Spurs. Pep always had difficulties with certain type of personalities like Eto'o...

Ederson | Deal agreed with Fenerbahce

If the rumours are true, I think it's caused by his reaction when he was subbed against Spurs... it was totally out of context having a face fracture... and Pep don't like such egotism and poor profesionalism...
