Buy an English lad who’s already playing in a top 5 team in the league and have a brilliant right back for 10 years. Or keep doing what we’ve been doing for the last couple of years in other positions spending 40/50m on players from abroad who don’t improve us.

We somehow went 2-0 up in that game but they were miles better than us. This is a City side that’s not beaten any of Liverpool, Arsenal or Madrid in about 12 games over the last couple of years.

Might not have led to the goals but it was a glaring weakness throughout the game. Will continue to be as we’ll persist with the high line, have slow centre backs and basically a left winger playing fullback.
