Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi

No. It would be stupid to shoehorn a scene where he literally has the plans in his grasp and for whatever reason does not use the force to grab them after literally showing the audience that he can just do that! You can't have it both ways. You can't justify his lightsaber wielding "badass-ery"...

Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi

Why didn't he force grab the plans from the guys hand? He does it to their guns (in fact force grabs a heap of guns), why is holding plans any different? Lazy storytelling, thats why. Due to shoehorning in a scene purely for fan service.

Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi

Actually watch them back again. The Vader scene in Rogue One is so out of kilter with a New Hope. vs Non withstanding the fact that in Rogue One Vader force grabs and throws everyone and everything, aside from the actual Death Star plans held in old mates hand. Mustn't have been that...

Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi

Yeah i'm not sure exactly but it wouldn't be days or weeks. The tonal shift is hard to take, all for rubbish fan service. There's room for Vader to go to town on people within star wars movies, maybe showing him grappling with what he's become, but that point in time was not ideal. Maybe in the...

Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi

Speak for yourself. Completely against the whole tone of a New Hope. Considering that a new hope starts a mere few hours after Rogue One ends the contrast between the two Vaders is stark, and completely out of sync. They are two different characters and the difference is jarring.

    Centre back options

I honestly don't think we need to bring anyone in in January, in any positions. Stones will be back, Kompany will contribute. I reckon just wait until summer and try and get Alderweireld.

Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi

I thought it was pretty woeful. I just couldn't get my head around a few things. For starters, the elapsed time from the start of TFA to the end of TLJ is about 2 weeks tops, that doesn't fly with me. Then there's other things that don't add up. How do bombs fall in space with no gravity? I...

    Eliaquim Mangala - 2017/18 performances

The fact that there were no posts on his performance against Leicester is telling. Hardly put a foot wrong, another decent performance. Lets hope he continues this form at least until we have Stones and Kompany back to full fitness. Decent backup.

I dare say if that was the case, Jesus and Sane would still be ahead of Foden or Diaz, so they wouldn't have got on the field...

    Eliaquim Mangala - 2017/18 performances

What about right at the start of the second half where he made one tackle, shrugged off the player who tried to re-gather, then shrugged off a further two Shaktar players to release the ball forward? Your picking a data point of one from the West Ham game and drawing conclusions from it. I...
