Open Letter on Season Tickets and Pricing | Club announce price freeze on "general admission season tickets & PL match tickets" for next season (p163)

The strike was conducted on a rep by rep basis. We left it for each rep to act as they saw fit.

They'll have to engage on ticket prices at the very least; https://www.gov.uk/government/news/strengthened-football-governance-bill-launched-to-protect-clubs-and-support-fans

Within some of the draft rules I'm pretty certain is says the would be able refuse them a licence if they can't show a certain level of fan engagement. I'd have to double check the exact wording though.

The ones that have are; Me (Families rep) Alex (18-25 Rep) Mike (Over 65s) Howard (Disabled Supporters Rep) Lee (LGBTQ+ Supporters Rep) Brian (Matchday Supporters Rep) It's not really important who isn't. The fact that we've over half reps on strike until a date is given is what's important. I...

I questioned some of the numbers at the time but it's not easy without a full break down of how they were calculated. So I went back to the club recently and asked a few more questions and for a bit more detail.

That's true, and whilst we've not necessarily asked for it, I'd defend that. Whilst we're unable to buy a traditional season ticket (if you'd prefer) it's a good safe guard to prevent long standing blues being forced onto flexigold. For example, you could have a seasoncard holder for 40 years...

Yeah there's no issue with renewing, but no new regular season tickets are being issued. So people are beginning to discover they can't get a regular season ticket for their kids and grandkids. Barclays did a survey, admittedly a years ago now, and found that we've got the highest percentage of...

Cheers mate, it's a good question and I don't really know to be honest. Hopefully we'll have a date for the meeting very shortly.

We're not trying to create an anti-City story but the club need to start engaging properly, particularly on really important issues like ticketing. The recent press release from Liverpool about their season ticket prize freeze credited a long and collaborative engagement with their own FAB for...

Thanks PB, as you know ticketing / season tickets has such a huge knock on affect to so many other issues at the club we need them to engage with us. It's ludicrous that it's come to this, but whilst other clubs are announcing ticket prices for next year, all we're actually asking for is a date...

We still haven't had a date for the extraordinary meeting on season tickets. As such, I (along we some of my other City Matters colleagues) will not be taking part in any meetings with the Club until this is resolved. I will however, still be happy to receive emails and will try to deal with...

Respectfully I don't think you understand the way City Matters works. The club aren't coming to meetings and saying "we're looking to reduce season ticket numbers". Half the time it's piecing together the information they do give us and trying to think about the knock on effect. There are...

We're doing absolutely nothing of the sort. There is no rise that's acceptable to me as too many fans have already been priced out. So seeing as you've clearly got an issue with what you perceive to be a lack of communication, what specifically do you want to know?

There are more than enough City fans that want to attend games that have either been priced out or unable to get tickets for all the games they want to attend when tickets become a firesale. I think it's worth remembering City operate an "all games on sale" approach at the start of the season...

Loukas did brilliantly, it's not an easy thing to do by any stretch, and his closing statement summed it up perfectly.
