Away fans / tourists in home sections

I will and that's exactly why I'm asking for seat numbers. Where we are able to have specific examples, we are able to ask what the outcome was.

If you were to ask the club they'd say that they're not selling them without purchase history. There was criteria in place for Real Madrid. Regarding resellers, the club say are trying to stop them. They have official resellers who sometimes operate under several trading names so the same...

I know, I didn't take offence and you're right, sometimes the club do ask we don't disclose things. The meeting minutes will be out shortly and they'll probably be a better summary as I expect the club will detail what they're doing/planning on doing as way a mitigation.

It wasn't NDA'ed. The discussion on this took up the majority of the meeting. In fact much of the rest of the agenda had to be rescheduled. We put across much of the sentiment in this thread and the impact its having on fans enjoyment and the safety concerns. As well as the effect its having...

There are actually few junior season ticket holders, that's part of the problem.

Alternatively, the club could attempt to win back the fans they've already lost with these constant price increases whilst maintaining those fans who are on the brink of sacking it off. There are more then enough City fans to fill those seats taken up by so called "neutrals".

Open Letter on Season Tickets and Pricing | Club announce price freeze on "general admission season tickets & PL match tickets" for next season (p163)

So assuming we accept it and adopt your approach. Free market, tickets done at dynamic pricing with no restraint (supply and demand and all that). There's about five games a season that would sell out at the drop of a hat. But who then fills the seats for a midweek game just after Christmas? Who...

Open Letter on Season Tickets and Pricing | Club announce price freeze on "general admission season tickets & PL match tickets" for next season (p163)

There's plenty of genuinely lovely people that work for the club who care deeply about the fans. The letter isn't meant to be adversarial but I do think its important these views are highlighted so they are not overlooked.

Well I'd thank that neutral for their opinion but be left thinking that they didn't really understand what supporting a football club means to people.

I suppose that would be a reasonable argument to retain the £150 if you could also opt to buy a regular season ticket. But as things stand it's Flexigold (and the additional £150) or nothing.

But it's not a business like any other. If I don't the cost of a train ticket I can take a different mode of transport. You wouldn't shrug your shoulders if they upped and moved the club abroad because it was more profitable for example. Football clubs have a responsibility to the communities...

Open Letter on Season Tickets and Pricing | Club announce price freeze on "general admission season tickets & PL match tickets" for next season (p163)

Good question. 1894, the DSA, Trade Union Blues and Canal Street Blues are elected by their members and of course City Matters are the clubs elected Fan Resprentative Board to make representations to the club on behalf of the clubs supporters. The Foodbank work tirelessly with both fans of the...

Open Letter on Season Tickets and Pricing | Club announce price freeze on "general admission season tickets & PL match tickets" for next season (p163)

I've seen one or two replies saying it won't make any difference. We often hear in meetings that the club don't receive negative feedback regarding ticketing and prices. If you agree with the contents of the letter I'd very much urge you to email Alex and I (or any of the City Matters reps for...

    Priced out?

It's an issue that affects everyone. We've seen in previous years with prices that the club rarely make decisions which impact everyone all at once. The lack of new season cards wont be an issue to many season ticket holders, that is until they want to take their kids or grandkids and can't get one.

    Priced out?

Whilst £37.50 for the South Stand is, in isolation, a good price, it's not the first time there have been large differences in prices round the ground. In my opinion charging £75 for an adult and a child in the Family Stand is ridiculous. We're only a few weeks after Christmas, playing a fixture...
