Unless he’s signing for Utd instead of City then there’s zero reason to be in Manchester… I also doubt he’d go unnoticed being as he’s all the media are talking about at present. He’d not come here for a medical, he’d have it done in London or Barcelona.

I said it yesterday but I’ll say it again…. City don’t need to increase their £80m valued bid, they can leave that and value him at that price until the cows come home. However, West Ham want £100m+ so City use ingenuity buy making the bonus payments £20m. They then structure the bonus...

Don’t we have our own facilities on site these days? Also why travel to Manchester for one, surely we’d just do it in London and avoid posts like this on a public forum…. Not very smart by City if true. However, I suspect you’re taking a punt and hoping it comes off.

This is a daft reply… Anyone saying go for FDJ or Mbappe clearly are not thinking right. It’s not about affording him (he has a £200m buy out) but it’s about his wages. FDJ is on something like £600k a week and Mbappe around £1m or so rumour dictates. There’s zero chance City pay those wages...

The fee is irrelevant, if City deem him a £150m player or £200m player then so be it, he’s worth the value we think we can get out of him in terms of future revenue, titles, prize money etc, NOT what armchair managers think he’s worth based on todays standings. Grealish is a perfect example...

Hypothetically, we could pay them the £105m and accept £35m for Phillips, he’s then cost us effectively £70m this window.

There’s a point greed kicks in though and City won’t entertain that. West Ham need to tread very carefully now.

City won’t be publicly agreeing to £100m for any player let alone Rice while still negotiating for Gvardiol! The moment we “agree a deal” with West Ham we give RB Leipzig the opportunity to try and rinse us for more money. Once that deals boxed off I suspect City will either just pay what WH...

But wouldn’t pay his crazy wages… that’s the sticking point in any deal for him.

It’s his wages that will cause an issue, he’s on crazy money.

Never understood this argument, it’s 200 miles away not 2000… I’ve mates further than that who I still see. We play in London a lot as is so again I’m not buying he’d want to be near his mate.

100% it is… We will see how it pans out. Talksport deleted the video within minutes. I fully expect City to receive a fine and worldwide damnation by tomorrow morning lol. It’s bound to be our fault.

She effectively said if she wanted a player but her club were messing around with low numbers, shed ask other clubs to outbid her club to prompt them into paying what the selling club wanted. The legality of which you decide. But to stop the moaners moaning… She was talking about the Rice deal...

A lot of reports the last hour they e had a £77m bid accepted by Real. How true it is I’ve no idea but we’ll see.
