I honestly cannot believe anybody got their hopes up because
of a plane bound for Malaga, with a couple about to board it.
It's utter madness and reminds me of that time I saw a scarecrow
in a field trying to have a w**. You know the answer.
If we could play with a high tempo for 90 mins, we'd
be bloody frightening. I thought we looked an unfit
side last season compared to the previous one. If we
can get the team fitter i think we'll be unstoppable,
domestically anyway.
Say there are no more incomings and no more outgoings,
would people be happy that the current squad could compete
on all four fronts next season. I think yes.
Midfield as it stands
Milner, Sinclair, Nasri, Silva, Yaya, Fernandinho, Garcia, Rodwell, Barry, Navas,
Razak.
Tell me why we need another midfielder please?. We just seem to be
stockpiling players in that area.
Can we really bring any more players in though, without a
few going out. I'm amazed there's been no outgoings so
far, very very quiet on that front. Tevez seems to be the
only name mentioned up to yet, and that seems to be in the
very early stages of any deal happening.
A 21 year old moving to a different country is a pretty big
step to make though isn't it. Perhaps he thought he's not
ready to make that move yet. Give him 4 years at Madrid
then we'll come calling.
How can you call Navas over priced at 15m mate. If Fernandinho
actually did cost 30m then yes it does seem too much. For all
we know Isco might never have been on our radar, and if he was
we obviously thought 30m was way too much to pay. At this stage
last year we hadn't even talked to any...
What makes you think Isco prefers City, that's the phrase
I'm not getting. I'm sorry but this is over, infact Saturday's
reports in the Spanish press suggested that. And this mornings
domestic newspapers have now got wind of the situation.
It's over.

-- Tue Jun 25, 2013 7:27 am --<br...
I'm taking a more phillasophical approach to this now, and
I'll say our summer doesn't entirely depend on whether we
sign Isco or not. We still should be an attacking threat to
any team if the season was to start tomorrow.
Re: Isco (Part 8 (weekend saga part 3))
I know we're going off topic a bit with Cook,
but yes I agree that it was a lot easier to
sign players as we were basically starting from
scratch, and his hands weren't tied. Still very
efficient though.
