It’s a hybrid. Common carp /crucian carp. Not a natural one, made by fish farms . Stocked mainly because they will feed all year round. Lots in commercial fisheries. Our club stocked them for the same reason.

Not too bad for this time of year, fish starting to move . Had a decent mirror , couple of F1s and three or four bream. Lovely afternoon.
