The drop off in technical quality - and footballing intelligence - since we won the treble is staggering. And yet despite seemingly prioritizing players who can run and play ‚in the transitions‘, we‘re also physically awful. Slow, piss-weak, immobile, unfit.

No point complaining about fouls, handballs etc. Smacks of sour grapes. But we should be demanding clarification on the process leading to the decision on their second - why wasn‘t the automated image shown immediately, why did it take so long for it to appear, why was it so obviously different...

Didn‘t play very well, so no major complaints about the result. Decisions were farcical though. Clear foul on Foden, their winner obviously offside. That second one stunningly bent.

Aside from being a giant twat, he‘s just not particularly suited to playing as a 10 behind a striker. He‘s not good on the half turn or in tight spaces, he‘s not especially creative. He‘s a box crasher - good physicality, and a decent eye for goal.
