I agree but I suppose they felt they had to charge to ensure attendance and the charity bit means they can't be accused of profiteering. Obviously pie and a pint would have done the same thing!

Is this not at odds with what has been said on here? It was suggested that work on the North Stand could start as early as October and that expansion of the east and west whilst not imminent would happen in the long term.

Cat 3 tickets on sale again. I ended up buying the cat 2 tickets (£35) on Friday when non of the cheaper tickets were available. If had known they were going to release more cheap tickets I would have waited, then I could have afforded to bring my two daughters. Seems an odd way to do things.

I would not bother trying to park near Wembley. Stanmore station car park fills up quickly on match days, but Canons Park and Queensbury station ( 2 stops from Wembley on the Jubilee line) car parks are less popular and normally have a few spare places. They are run by NCP so you can check on...

Most of the engineering work is on Sunday this weekend. All the lines serving wembley are fine.
