Blatant penalty. Scandalous if this doesn’t get overturned.

Just need to cut out some of the risky passes at the back. We’re causing most of our own problems.

Need to play a little safer. No stupid risks. A draw isn’t the worst result.

GET IN. We win this now!

Need to draw this game at a minimum. Villa would like nothing more than to hand the title to Liverpool.

    The FTSE

Yep. Even after recent declines, it could still be 10 times overvalued. But unlike the others, it had a $1T+ market cap, which means that a crash in the stock could cause contagion and capitulation in the wider market. Not that this would be a bad thing for people with time on their side, but it...

    It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

Son would be my dream signing. He’d easily get 20-30 goals a season for us. Too bad it’ll never happen. We’ve got Kevin, Bernardo, Grealish and Gundogan for the 8 positions. Unless both Bernardo and Gundogan leave, I’d look to bring in a CDM. We need a defensively minded player to give us the...

    Frenkie de Jong

Needs his head checking if he is even considering such a move. I know Barcelona aren’t in the greatest state right now, but that’s still one hell of a way to throw your career away.

This game can quickly turn. Fullbacks have been absolutely atrocious.

Zinchenko is a calamity. Only a matter of time before he costs us a goal.

Kevin absolutely brilliant and completely carrying us. Zinchenko and Cancelo poor, reckless in possession. The counter-attack is constantly on for them. We can easily concede another couple if we don’t cut that out. If that chance fell to Haaland instead of Sterling then it’s probably game over.

We really miss the pace of Walker. They’re going to try and repeatedly exploit our lack of pace in defence.

Why are we getting repeatedly caught out on the counter, especially when we are up?! We had the warning, but did not take heed.

    The FTSE

It’s positive to see healthy corrections in some of the bubble and junk stocks. Rivian, for example, is down from $179 to under $20. That IPO set off alarm bells and thankfully triggered me to exit some of my positions that had grown their earnings multiples. But there are still a lot of stocks...

Gabriel Jesus | Joins Arsenal for £45m

We better get a decent fee for him. There’s absolutely no excuses this time. He’s young, on low wages, a quality player, works exceptionally hard and plenty of clubs interested.

    Leroy Sané

I don’t think he fought his way out or left on bad terms. Bayern made him quite a ridiculous offer and promised him the world. Given that he wasn’t getting a huge amount of game time, and we (rightly) didn’t come close to matching Bayern’s offer, I can understand perfectly why he would want to...

    Leroy Sané

He’ll need to take a pay cut if he wants to leave for anywhere else.

    Leroy Sané

In a second! We’ve lacked pace out wide and the ability to stretch the pitch effectively ever since he left. Sterling has suffered because of his departure. Sane back would give us greater balance and adaptability in attack. I don’t think it will happen, but a comparable winger is the last piece...
