They absolutely will if clubs keep asking for insane fees to let them leave. Needed either way

    Harry Kane

Valid points. We are both guessing and calling what we see. I see a player that has previously often not performed in big games, coming back of a relatively poor international tournament. I put his one or two early performances to just his general pattern, no more than that. You think it is...

    Welcome Kayky!

Yeah I get that. It is a combination of any of the minutes from any of the tables. However the conclusion you quote above in the article itself is crass at best, and incorrect at worst. As i understand it. He needs 15 points to qualify. In any combination. Featuring in the copa for over 90%...

    Harry Kane

I doubt that, myseld. Messi didn't get his move (to us reportedly) last summer. Still had a hell of a season with some top performances, even then supposedly changing his mi f and deciding to stay at a less competative side in decline. Mahrez didn't have a dip in performance after he was denied...

    Welcome Kayky!

Interesting, thanks. Hadn't realized that change was coming in this year. He will still need a combination of a couple games at international level, south american league cups (which he has) and possibly a few games in our league / CL. But yeah certainly much easier than purely international...

    Welcome Kayky!

Academy player, u18, doesn't fall into that category yet. Lets hope his national team use him enough by the time it matters.

    Erling Haaland

Don't think any team will offer more than the buyout. When it kicks in. Thats why it is the buyout, Dortmund have no choice but to accept it, from any team offering it, and there is nothing to gain by offeri g more. Unless you meant offering more in January, before the clause kicks in in the...

    Erling Haaland

If indeed this clause kicks in in January. Which I'm not convinced, personally. It was claimed by one paper only, and feels a bit of a reach. An assumption based on the fact he moved in January. Imo, if it did kick in in January, no way Dortmund would have been stubborn about not selling...

I like your use of the word average there.

    You mean 16 in 5. Or 17 in 6. Or 5 in 1 or 0 in 2.

    Erling Haaland

Is it though? It is there, if there is an article by marca, quoting la gazette, drawing a conclusion from a claim by the guardia that Utd disnt sign the player because that is what they would have expected to pay if they were to have tried to sign him.

    Erling Haaland

Thanks. Having read 'the true cost' on plenty of our transfers where some bored journalist throws every figure he can into the mix, I will discard that. His formal transfer fee reported was 20m. His release clause 75m. Daft yes, disproportionate, probably not If you add 35m onto that, sure, but...

    Erling Haaland

Did they not pay €20-25m for him? Thats what I had read. Even so, I would agree it wasn't sensible to include a release clause, but the balance is far less extreme. If the latter figure, it still guaranteed tripple what they paid for him, as a young and not that proven player, 2 years at least...

    Erling Haaland

More or less every third comment is how we wont go anywhere near this because of the money involved. And you seem to think fhere must be something in the wages claimed. Which his own agent has publicly dismissed. The boy's entpurage keep talking about prioritising a footballing project, his dad...

    Erling Haaland

The figures reported, as in, 75m? We wouldn't pay 75m for a young hugely talented striker that scores record breaking numbers of goals, has multiple strengths and qualities including being blessed with pace, with many years ahead of him. On a position we have needed strengthening for a number of...

Good stuff. little relief break, then into Better Call Saul you dive. To me (im in the minority), that is even better than BB.

I would say yes. It gets a bit fillery 2 thirds in, but they find a way to end it well. The initial constant feeling of unease also goes away after a while too. It is good one if you dont feel like u jeed to invest into long running sagas.

    Erling Haaland

Agree, but the way we have 'operated', Haaland is exactly the type and profile of player we would have gone and signed. This was my point all of lsst summer. Kane was a change to the model, Haaland is not. Doesn't mean I think we will sign him btw, just that he is a fit, both in footballing...

Is it? I've watched the first two, they were easy watching throughout and had the odd laugh, never really excelled bu never got tiresome either. Hadn't realized there were that many more to go.
