    Premier League Games 22/23/24 October

Agreed, I mean what sort of idiot team would choose to live beyond their means and rack up millions and millions of pounds of debt.....? Its sure to catch up with them isn't it?

#SOO Save Our Olé Season III.....Ole, The Trilogy. The Three Game Push.

Whilst I was deeply disappointed at them getting a winner especially after coming back from 0-2 down, I am prepared to admit this was the best result all round in that they were absolute shit in the first half and not much better in the second. They proved they struggle all round but most...

    Champions League Games 19/20 October

Ummmmm..... you're suggesting that they had good balance before CR37 arrived... Really? I would brg to differ.

    Newcastle United Thread - 2021/22

Sad it happened but he is well set and won't need to ever work again ( though is nailed on he will be a regular on Sky). There are many many others in a much worse position through no fault if their in (unlike him) so tears shed here im afraid!

    United Thread - 2021/22

The problems they have are two fold (at least). 1 any incoming manager will have to manage a dressing room full of ego's bursting to the brim. A difficult task even fir the very best. 2 the pool of united heroes is dry. Over the last 15 years they haven't really produced anyone of any...

Colin Bell RIP - Ian Cheeseman interview with Jon Bell (P142)

Don't know if this has already been posted, but if it has it doesn't hurt to have it posted again. I absolutely admired Mr Bell, and was looking him up on youtube and came across this. Any City fan of any generation should look at this the man was a miracle, such a hero for me. So sad his...

    No Time To Die (Spoilers)

It was that good it didn't seem like 2.5 hours..... the storyline has hooks all the way through and is totally engaging. The opening scenes (pre-credits) must have been at least 15-20 minutes ;0)

#SOO Save Our Olé Season III.....Ole, The Trilogy. The Three Game Push.

As much as I would like..... nay would love him to stay in charge I think he built his own scaffolding and put finishing touches to his coffin when he brought on CR7 and Sancho, I couldn't believe it myself. I do wonder if he cannot handle the pressure and is orchestrating his own exit? I mean...

    No Time To Die (Spoilers)

I think we can discuss the storyline as the mods have kindly added (spoilers) to the thread title as opposed to the other thread that says no spoilers. I thought the ending was fabulous, the Louis Armstrong touch... "We have all the time in the world" was brilliant, there were several mentions...

    United Thread - 2021/22

All disrespect for them aside.... and thinking about us too, does 150 minutes really make enough difference to create a fuss about? Or is he just getting excuse for losing the game before he actually loses it?

    No Time To Die (Spoilers)

Agreed but that would mean giving the plot away, I assume you enjoyed it too then? The spoiler tag could save it I suppose, but IMO this film deserves its own thread.

Sarah Everard murder | Wayne Couzens given whole-life sentence

Good point but as was mentioned earlier in the thread, any high profile cases could be presented to a panel of judges as opposed to a civilian jury? Either way I do think the issue needs to be properly reconsidered.

Sarah Everard murder | Wayne Couzens given whole-life sentence

totally agree but......... If Capital punishment was available it would hopefully act as a deterrent, I appreciate this would not be so in all cases but if it spared just one life surely it would be worth it? This rapist murderer is never going to be free again (thankfully) so what is the point...
