    FA Cup 3rd Round | Swindon (A)

Yep, we were in that open air end behing the goals.

Saver or spender and has COVID changed you ?

During the original lockdown, and into the period where spectators weren't allowed into sporting venues, I've spent loads on the house. Had a new bathroom, downstairs painted and decorated, and new 3 piece suite. Only trouble now is that the wife has realised just how much of my wage goes on...

    Etihad Atmosphere - 2021/22

I'm in Colin Bell Level 3, and thought we were quiet for the first 25-30 mins, then got sick of the piss-taking by WHU fans, and started giving it back. They then went quiet and I thought the atmosphere was ok from that point on. Obviously, it could be better, but I think we're beating...

    Newcastle Away Staying Over

Stayed there about 3 seasons ago. Great being so close to the ground, and the sports bar attached to the hotel is decent for pre-match drinks. If you're after a late drink though, they like to close early on a match night, and that's the only bar in the hotel.

Has Manchester lost too many of it's old pubs in town

Yep, still there, but closes at 22:00 these days. Definitely one of the worst hit areas, as you say. I've still got the memories.....just!

Has Manchester lost too many of it's old pubs in town

Just one mate, The Winston (Fraggle Rock, as it's known locally), on Churchill Way. A real shame though. Still miss my old favourites The Woolpack and The Langworthy.

Most of these pundits are either Rags or closet Rags. They live for the day when they'll be back on top and winning things. Lets hope their wait is a very long one!

Just had to pop on to this thread to make sure that it did actually happen! Hardly a mention in the media, both press and TV since Sunday!

    Favourite Beer

I've recently become very fond of Jaipur IPA. It's fairly strong for an IPA at 5.9%, but is very smooth and easy to drink. Not widely available on draught, but I was delighted to see and sample a pint in the City Arms in town before the Leipzig game!

    Coronavirus (2021) thread

Wonder if they meant don't take another PCR? I took a lateral flow on 23/10, and that was negative. In all 5 calls I had, they didn't mention anything about 90 days.

    Coronavirus (2021) thread

Yes mate. I tested positive 13/10 and finally negative 23/10, but developed pneumonia. Went on a course of strong antibiotics, which thankfully cleared it, but still suffering from fatigue and short of breath. Getting slowly better each day, and aiming to be fully fit again for the Everton game!

    United Thread - 2021/22

I always do! And we've done better at The Swamp in recent years, than at any other time I can remember (I'm 60). The pressure will be on them after their result at Spurs, and the Rags will be after our blood! That will be in our favour I reckon, as we can do to them what they've done at our...

That's certainly encouraging, and I'm not even bothering with MOTD! Thanks so much for the info!

You just keep waiting for Sterling to produce, and tonight, in such an open game, was his perfect chance. Sadly, alas not.
