    Watford (A) - Post-Match Thread

The Cathcart attack on Jesus was nothing less than thuggery. A cynical trip to stop him, followed up by a whack to hurt him. Clear intent, violent conduct. An absolute shithouse's challenge that was more suited to a Sunday pub league. He should have been sent off.

Splendid performance. Words fail me for just how good City are playing at the moment.

    Premier League Games 4/5/6 December

Wolves are shit and to be honest got exactly what they deserved. They don't deserve to be in the PL with bottle job performances like that.

    Team Sheet leaking

I can't believe it... Half an hour since the OP was put on and no-one on here has pointed the finger at Raheem Sterling yet. The 'haters' must still be asleep.

    Players who might improve us

I think you'd find that Villa would want more for Ollie Watkins than Spurs would for Kane. He's their new superstar - If we go knocking on their door, they'll probably demand a lot more than we paid for Jack Grealish.

    Next Manager after Pep

He's a nasty piece of work. He's Joey Barton with a good lawyer. Those are his good points. Football management-wise, he's nothing special and has little to offer in terms of experience for any club. He'll do no better at a decent level than Frank Lampard or Wayne Rooney. In a nutshell, there...

    It's Quiet 16 - Txiki grinders

I agree, but can you honestly see Pep using him in an important CL match or if we're locked in a battle for the title come March/April? I can't see it happening. The lad is nowhere near ready. I think he may well go out on loan abroad in January to learn his trade.

Chelsea would be absolutely mad to sell him. Not a chance.

    It's Quiet 16 - Txiki grinders

Rory, Liam... Easily confused I am. You knew what I meant really though ;-) Liam won't break through this season - too much at stake. I can see Pep going the full season with the 'false nine' - That's why I suspect we'll fall short of trophies this season. We need someone experienced up front...

    It's Quiet 16 - Txiki grinders

Our academy strikers are light years away from PL football - Barring a near calamitous injury list for the first team, Rory Delap will probably go out on loan for at least 18 months, and the rest of our EDS forwards are wingers rather than out and out strikers. We need a quick fix - someone to...

    Aston Villa (A) - Post-Match Thread

Don't care a jot. Standard practice nowadays. He wasn't the first to do it and won't be the last. Nothing wrong with grabbing what you see as an opportunity not to be missed. One of the best players I've seen anywhere in the last 10 years.

    Aston Villa (A) - Post-Match Thread

Only just realised that? He's no better a human being than Joey Barton. Unpleasant scouse scumbags.

    Aston Villa (A) - Post-Match Thread

Never in a million years would I boo Leroy Sane. I wouldn't boo him even if he signed for the rags and 'kissed the badge' (which he wouldn’t do). One of the most exciting players ever to pull on a City shirt.
