    Harry Kane

Wasn't it Pep who once noted the importance of having a strong national core to a team? Or perhaps someone else of our clubs higher ups. Not saying it's *the* reason, just something factoring into the thinking.

    Harry Kane

His fault for thinking a gentlemen's agreement with Levy was worth shit after Modric (No doubt other examples we haven't heard of). Should have got it in writing when he signed that last bumper deal.

    Harry Kane

Right? Was a bit touch and go there for a second but bloody hell I'm glad it's now official.

    Harry Kane

Lol, just in the midst of posting the same. Unless it's to put in a proper release clause.

Incredible how owners like this have helped convince the world that Sheikh Mansour and similar are ruining football when it's simply that they don't want to invest any of their own money in a competitive market.

    Lionel Messi

Still can't believe he finally actually moved and we weren't in for him. Lol.

    Jack Grealish

Same. Imagine being able to take a front four of Kane, Sterling, Grealish and Foden to the World Cup, where they've actually played together week in week out. Even if they're playing in a different system that surely has to be a good thing.

    Italy v England | Euro 2020 Final

They did. We had a good spell for the first 20 minutes or so, and it was mostly Italy after that. Easy to comment in hindsight but just wish we'd made the subs to go for it in normal time and risk the loss than take it to pens.

    Lionel Messi

Twist on the "X sponsor will be prepared to pay Y amount of Z's wages if he signs for United".

Sterling and the hate he gets

Being made out as the softest penalty ever given at a major tournament. Total nonsense.

Euro 2020 | Player of the Tournament

If we win the tournament it has to go to Sterling. He's carried us. His presence alone has allowed other players to look good by virtue of the attention every opposition defence gives him. Despite that he's still scored the crucial goals and been in constant threatening positions. Unfortunately...

England v Denmark | Euro 2020 Semi Final

I realise he was doing it against a knackered Danish side, but I think Foden played more better passes in his first ten minutes than Mount and Saka combined until that point.

England v Denmark | Euro 2020 Semi Final

Sterling has given absolutely everything. Everything.

England v Denmark | Euro 2020 Semi Final

It is outrageous how easily Denmark can make Pickford hoof it.

England v Denmark | Euro 2020 Semi Final

Think it'll go down as an OG but if Sterling isn't right where he is that's not going in IMO.

    Reverting to hoof ball.

Ukraine v England | Euro 2020 Quarter Final

Has he? Think he's mostly just had a decent defence in front of him tbh.
