There was a great multi episode series on Radio 4 many years ago about the life and times of Churchill. Just looked it up, was called “Churchill’s Other Lives”, it’s not available at the moment but well worth a listen if you can access it on the internet.

They’re a right set of miserable characters, watched one per night then put comedy on before bedtime to forget about how dour it was, good programme though.
