Farage chose his seat in which he had a natural constituency. Disillusioned anti-immigration voters. Burnham faces disillusioned Labour voters

FA Youth Cup winners: 2-1 win v rags, match thread / Thurs 14th May 2026

The most pleasing aspect of the victory will be reading the spin the BBC put on it. Yesterday they were wetting themselves over the talent that was in this United squad and how they would rise to the occasion as Carrick watching would provide them with additional motivation. Ah well...

One thing that Brits do not like is being taken for granted. So when Burnham parachutes himself into this constituency I think he's in for a very rude shock. People will think we want a proper constituency MP not somebody who is there to use us as a stepping stone in his political ambitions.

Streeting Resigns & Labour Leadership Contest Starts

Odd that a man with a majority of 528 at the last election when defending a seat and given the Labour victory thinks he is the man the country might get behind. Delusional

    Media discussion - 2025/26

Recently posted to the BBC in response to an article on the BBC Sports website discussing whether Southampton should be thrown out of the play-offs re spygate. Needless to say the usual suspects piled in about the 115 charges. My complaint that these comments were off topic has been dismissed
