Will we win the league this season? No

It’s like some posters on here have never seen a title run in and have learnt nothing in the last fifteen years Make no mistake tonight was a fantastic result, any win at this stage of a title run in is a fantastic result

Burnley (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Brilliant hard fought win, was always gonna be a case of after the Lord mayor’s show but we toughed it out like champions A few dafties on the pre match thread had the same opinions as the mental Sky pundits Ratboy and Micah who thought it’d be a cakewalk but it’s never easy at this stage of a...

Will we win the league this season? No

Agreed. Some of the hype around them in the media (and ridiculously on these pages too) has been absurd. And it’s come from pundits / journos who are old enough to know that nothing’s won at Christmas or in March and who’ve seen many early front runners fall by the wayside when it counts.

Looking like Leeds in the final if we get there. Should be lively !

    Burnley away

I did the same, thought I’d have more luck as my address is fairly local to them but no joy as “tickets can not be assigned to a newly registered member” Loads of seats available too, fucking yonners !!

    Burnley (A) - Wed 22nd April, 20:00 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

This could be a really hard night’s work, arguably our hardest game left given the circumstances. The players left a lot on the pitch on Sunday and to have to be bang up for it again 72 hours later under the intense pressure of a title run in will be a new experience for several members of the...

Will we win the league this season? No

Decent analogy but to give it some course and distance perspective I’d add that we’re somewhere near peak Nadal and we’re playing on clay

Will we win the league this season? No

All the pundits are saying yeah credit to Arsenal for eschewing their safety first, football by numbers approach and showing renewed confidence and courage in trying to go toe to toe with City. Not for me. Arsenal to me seemed like a boxer who was up on points earlier in the fight but has been...

Arsenal (H) | PL | Man Of The Match

Nico for me, I’ve never seen a lad so young take on so much responsibility on the pitch, he’s a natural leader and he showed that today

FA Youth Cup winners: 2-1 win v rags, match thread / Thurs 14th May 2026

Great news Anybody who was at the 1986 Maine Road final will I'm sure cherish that evening as one of their favourite City memories. Let's hope for the same result this time.

Treble Medals No Longer Listed On The Budds Auction Website

Obviously you can’t name names but in terms of a cryptic clue would it be fair to say that one of these players tendency to gamble in real life is matched by a tendency to gamble on the pitch ?

Cole Palmer and Chelsea players for sale?

It’s not exactly the most scientific way of rating a player but I’ve always been suspicious of his goal celebration routine

Should Bernardo Have a City Statue?

It will end, success is cyclical. We’ve been fortunate that arguably the greatest manager in the history of football has spent his best years with us and delivered us unprecedented success. When he goes the number of trophies we win will most likely plummet. So we should celebrate each and...

Should Bernardo Have a City Statue?

Just imagine telling your younger self 20 years ago while he / she endured the Pearce era that 20 years from then there’d be a debate amongst blues as to which ones amongst several undeniably all time great PL players deserved statues outside our ground

Should Bernardo Have a City Statue?

Bernie isn't as good no but he's arguably as effective on the team I wouldn't give Ferna, Walker or Rodri (yet) statues but i'd have to give Gundog one (depicting him in the act of smashing home the 12 second goal) although i accept that's probably a slightly gratuitous one I agree about Yaya...
