Agreed. Granted we should've taken those early chances but to practically start booing is nonsensical. We need to back the team during the difficult periods. "Only sing when you're winning" is a fairly accurate description of our match attending support as a whole.

The grandparents took me to Maine Road back in the old division 2 days. Always left 10-15 minutes before the end to beat the traffic. I remember 1 game missing a goal walking out, a goal in the car park and a goal on the way home. Vowed never to leave before the end.

It's not actually unless you of course have a BT Sport subscription. Can only be viewed on Freeview (BT Showcase). Can't watch through Sky as that channel does exist on the Sky platform.

Well players current and ex both say it does give them that lift. Sometimes that could be all it needs to get the team over the line.

So is it literally just a case of price? I always think back to the Hamburg game at home, Europa Quarter Final (or was it still UEFA Cup then?). Was it simply a combination of being the latter stages of a competition combined with tickets for £5? Is this what made the atmosphere 'electric'...
