Apprarently the shield is on the shirt because it is cheaper for Nike to stitch the badge onto a sheild and stictch the shield on the shirt rather than stitch it on the thin material of the shirt.

Heads up for anyone buying it for young kids The City & Nike bade is all transfered on, as oppose to stitched into the shirt like Umbro did it. Still got it for my lad but nowhere near the same quality as Umbro.

Ticket £50 Petrol £30 Beer and food money £110 Stayed over at a mates house so saved some money there but made up for it in drink. £190 all in. Can't wait to do it again for the final, worth every penny!

Despite the recent success, still one of my best moments of being a blue was us clapping and singing his name when he scored for us. He didn't celebrate, and we acknowledged him with the respect he deserved. Quality player, and terrific servant to the club.

Yes, he doesn't usually take penalties. And if Mario or Sergio was on the pitch then he wouldn't have took it. But it's good to see a centre forward grab the ball to take it. It's better than shying away. And looking back, he still scored and we still won the game. So harm done really. Well done...
