Loved seeing him question others on the pitch/bench, he is no longer one of the kids or “peps boy” but now a key figure in the team. One of the first names on the team sheet for me.

Agreed but not sure the clubs he would actually go to can afford/want him. And with that in mind I think Pep will keep trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.

Let’s be excited for what we have rather than longing for what we don’t - not as confident this season due to rivals strengthening but fuck it you can’t win them all. Foden, Grealish, KDB, Torres, Jesus on the wing, Kayky, Delap - loads to be excited about.

Same argument can be made for all top level footballers to some extent -they’ve all got more money than they could know what to do with...yet they’re constantly moving clubs for bigger wages or demanding new contracts.

Anyone else think the real reason Levy pulled the plug on this is being rejected by the targets they had to replace Kane? Grimes (twitter ITK) reporter Vlahovic rejected them, Martinez rumours also went quiet and apparently Pau Torres rejected them.
