He wasn’t solid all game. He got bulldozed by Brobbey in the first half. Luckily Donnarumma saved him. Gvardiol and Rodri were both superb when they came on.

Would Pep even play him? He would have had no time at all to train with us? He definitely wouldn’t play 90 min. From my view we can control our own 3 points with a good in-form, settled line up and we can also have a small, but possibly significant, interference in Arsenals game. A win / win.

100%. The cards have dropped nicely for us to have an ‘inside man’ this Sunday. Why anyone would want him on our bench or to play 60min v Chelsea instead of him playing V Arsenal needs to give their head a wobble.

I’d prefer it if he played for Bournemouth this weekend v Arsenal. Last game, at home, at night, will give his all to leave on a good note and to help us if they can win or draw. So I’m hoping no news till Sunday.
