being a bit pinickity but a lot of the M postcodes are greater manchester not manchester....being a blackley lad i take pride i come from manchester not greater manchester e.g. M24 is rochdale M35 is oldham etc....[although to shoot my argument out of the water i now live in Oldham albeit 45...
