PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

As BamberBridgeBlue says, if there was evidence of criminal conduct, you might expect the Police to have figured in the process before now That said, it is possible to allege conduct in disciplinary proceedings which would amount to a crime if pursued by the CPS in the Crown Court. In a...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

You are right to say that in some cases, procedures allow the parties to 'settle' intended charges of misconduct, but that is not a universal practice. In some cases, charges are brought without giving the other side a chance to negotiate a settlement. You have the simple choice of accepting the...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

My reply is incomplete. The full answer should continue as follows. When the charges are in proper form, the party alleging misconduct should disclose its supporting evidence. The tactical burden shifts to the other side when the charges have been finalised, and all the evidence has been...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I am a 'legal eagle' with experience of non-judicial legal proceedings like these proceedings. In any well-regulated legal environment rules of procedure normally exist before proceedings begin. These tell the parties what are their rights and obligations at the outset. Normally, when...

City v United Beijing friendly pre match - CANCELLED

Thursday's match is in Shenzhen, just across the border from Hong Kong, about 20 miles away. I can tell you as someone living in HK that the weather here has been exceptionally warm. Temperatures of 34-37 C are forecast towards the end of the week. A typhoon is also in the offing. China in July...

Bert Trautmann upset no official final invite

I was lucky enough to be invited by a director of Birmingham last season to watch the B/ham game at COMS from the directors' box. Bert T was a guest that day and was presented with a special award. In the directors' suite he was a true gent. Great pity that City could not deploy sufficient...

    Brilliant !!

Regarding jonny68's post about his travels in the East, I live in Hong Kong and have noticed that knock off street vendors are beginning to sell MCFC shirts. Red shirts-Arsenal, Mu and Liverpool-l still predominate but these vendors are canny and can smell dollars. That is the other side of success.

Disgustng Article on Balotelli-calls him idiot and buffoon

If you have a sense of irony and a sense of humour the article is quite complimentary to MB and is an attack on other 'conventional' PL primadonnas. Nothing to get upset about.

    Everton home Saturday 18th December

Just as I booked a Hong Kong-Amsterdam-Manchester flight to arrive bright and early in the morning on 18th. Planning early, I know, but seats on flights are scarce around Xmas time. Spend another night, I suppose, in a hotel in Manchester to watch game on Sunday, assuming that date is good. Any...

The Sun - City fans no longer purchasing this rag.

The Sun is worthless and it blunts your brain. The Mirror, to be fair, had a mild left wing socialist editorial tradition which occasionally-very occasionally-still crops up. Not much to choose between them but a definite difference.

What is going on with santa cruz !

Jo is gash, RSC is slightly less gash. I'll support them if they pull the shirt on but tbh I will feel a bit ripped off. Hope either of them stuff my words back down my throat. Why be so restrictive? I hope both of them prove you wrong.
