    Media Discussion - 2023/24

I was thinking of buying a hedgehog gutter brush, but after seeing the gutters at talksport were still overflowing with shit I changed my mind.

Injuries - 2023/24 | Walker, Nunes, Akanji, Stones pick up injuries during international break

It's gone wrong because the ruling bodies put greed before club football and anyone or most of those who want to see top players appearing in these games is most likely a watcher of lower league football or has a couch season ticket. It's also amazing how the media complain about fixture...

Allyson Rudd said Eddy was to blame for coming out of his area. I didn't see many in the media disagree with her comment.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

There might be water pistols full of boiling piss when the red top loonies read the judgement.

You mean trying to turn other players legs into creamy mash?

Apparently there was very little evidence of dippers bunkin in, according to one journo. He must have missed the thousands of feral rats sitting in the gangways long before the game started, while supporters with genuine tickets were still trying to gain access.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Uneducated doesn't necessarily mean stupid. Many of these planks have professional qualifications but wouldn't dream of letting the good fortune and advantage given to them interfere with their prejudice against anything they don't like.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Maybe it's a good job Mike Baldwin isn't responsible for making and sponsoring the City shirts.

Someone else on here said it was him, but after a quick search all reference seems to have been deleted since that night, so it could be another person. Edit: Apologies to Wyness, it wasn't him or the league cup semi. www.liverpoolecho.co.uk

Haven't seen the clip, but isn't Football Insider the site that features an ex Everton director who was thrown out of the Etihad during the league cup semi-final for his extremely unpleasant behaviour? It's obvious from the article the so-called reporter is just regurgitating old news.

He's a season ticket holder and would have got dogs abuse at the next Everton game if he defended us, strangely though, I haven't heard any of them getting outraged over public money being thrown at a club in trafford. Even stranger when American billionaires are milking money out of the club...

If it was publicised wider than just football circles, then I think the general public would let their feelings on the subject be known.

    "Injuries" before internationals

On a podcast last week some idiot called it something like a typical Pep trick to have Kev missing. It's noticeable how these third rate hacks when mentioning someone else grubbing a living off their so-called proffesion that so and so is a brilliant journo and their latest article is a must...

Think it was a boxing day game at Wigan and we got absolutely hammered, Barton was the only City player to come over to the City fans to applaud them. Micah can be annoying at times but the stick he gets off some so-called blues is way over the top.

Someone reported they are being investigated over unpaid tax. If thats true and they end up being found guilty, then I would hope that would put an end to any chance of public funding for the new swamp.

Had to laugh at a clip from talksport claiming that lots of full grown rags had tears in their eyes at the final whistle. Must have been from the smoke bombs the dippers were throwing.

Two flukey goals apparently but forgot to mention it could easily have been five.
