Recent performances do have that whole end of an era/going the motions vibe to them. However, I think there’s a few mitigating factors before blaming Pep. We’ve been hammered with injuries and had piss poor recruitment for the past two years. Any manager would struggle in those circumstances.

Our results have been brilliant this season when you compare them to our actual performances. It’s why today should not come as a surprise to anyone. It was daylight robbery that we beat Fulham. We scraped past Wolves and Southampton and got our arse handed to us today.
