Greatest City 11 (Non-English British Isles Only)

The English only 11 got me thinking, and this needs more thought and delving into the past, what about a greatest 11 from the British isles (including Ireland) would you pick. Here’s my first go and I rely on my dad and his mother’s memories for some of these. Shay Given Gary Fleming...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I actually had a rag scoffing to the fact that the rules had been manufactured by certain clubs to stop the likes of City and that they had “always been there”. Clueless twats.

    The Full Members Cup

My memory was turning up for the Leeds home game as a 13yo with my £3 in my pocket to get in or whatever it was (should have been). Then being told that there was no junior concession prices, asking around the Kippax car park for cash off match goers and only getting a few pence except for a...

    Old Manchester cinemas

It was The Concorde from the 1970s. I remember seeing ET there. Closed mid eighties I think. Sometimes went out to the Rix in Wilmslow when bookings were busy. The Tatton in Gatley was great. Major, Minor and Mini.

    Liverpool (A) - Sun 10th Mar, 15:45 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

We’ve moved up a few notches as a group since even the last time we played there. We’re the best team on the planet now, no fears. Even in the past the only time we didn’t turn up there was the champions league 1/4 final. The only worry there that that was after they smashed the bus and the...

    Liverpool (A) - Sun 10th Mar, 15:45 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Problem for us is, like last time, our players will have burned up their match-ready energy in the adrenaline rush and will hit a flat spot in the game. So I don't welcome it.
