Can't believe nobody has mentioned The Charlatans. First saw them 89 in Liverpool and they have improved time and time again. Simple Minds at Roundhay Park Leeds in circa 88 were pretty cool, supported by Siouxsie and the Banshee's. Oasis at the hallowed Maine Road were fantastic for atmosphere.

I once tried a fruit called durian. It smells so bad it is banned from some public buildings across SE Asia. Smells like mouldy cheese or really bad feet but tastes OK.

Ant eggs in Thailand, they popped in the mouth like bursting a blister... nice!
