PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Since a lot of American owners have their dirty fingerprints all over this, I think Jan 15 would be the best date.

    Last Film You Saw

Watched Bugonia at the cinema last night. Latest by Yorgos Lanthimos. Bizarre as fuck and based on the reviews I’ve seen, half the people who see it love it and the other half hate it. Although I didn’t make it through Kinds of Kindness, I really liked this one - very well acted sci-fi horror...

    United facing sex abuse allegation

Unfortunately, men have evolved over millions of years to be sexual predators to some extent. It's obviously been moderated by adjusting social norms (and laws) over the last few thousand years of civilization, but there's still a non-trivial percentage that are on the more predatory end of the...

What would you change about the rules of football?

I'd like to see a big change to the throw-in rule: 1) opposition players must be 5 yards away 2) ball can be put into play however you like as long as it's touched by another player within 5 yards (underarm roll, short kick) 3) current rules apply for longer throws, but both feet on the ground...

What would you change about the rules of football?

This would produce more goals, but you'd have just as many annoyingly close calls - they'd just be "heal not quite onside by a millimetre" instead of "toe just offside by a millimetre".

Liverpool (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

But if they don't accept the decision was arrived at for subjective reasons, then they must think it was for objective reasons, in which case, what's the problem? Do they know what subjective and objective mean? Edit: just read @ChicagoBlue post above - seems like it wasn't a direct quote, so...

Liverpool (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

I don't know if they really interpret the law this way, but to me, "in the keeper's eyeline" shouldn't just mean "between the keeper and the ball". If the player is in front of the keeper, even if the ball's coming from a slightly different angle, he's still interfering being a visual...

Yeah, imagine if Liverpool conceded a goal caused by an opponent pushing the goalie when he was in the air, making him miss his punch, like happened to us recently.

Good thing he thought the penalty foul was outside the box or he’d never have given it!
