Good to see him getting some minutes on Saturday after his injury woes. Is he back to full fitness and where is he in the pecking order?

Colin Bell RIP - Ian Cheeseman interview with Jon Bell (P142)

My first footballing hero. Very sad. A legend forever. Part of my youth dies with him. Never forgotten....

Strange signings/Players still contracted to City but on perma loans.

Collins Tanor has been with us since 2016 and is ALWAYS on our end of season retained list but I know the square root of f*ck all about him. See also Mohammed Aminu. Exactly.

    Worst Goalkeeper

I was at his home debut a week later. A 1-0 loss to Leeds, sadly. Was also at the (93?) game against Everton when we got thumped 5-2. I'm sure both goalies were substituted at half time, Margetson in our case. He was bobbins.

Is Harvey Griffiths still at City? Not seen him mentioned at all this season. Speaking not of which, I see Tom Scott has been released. Any others?

    Stoke fan here in peace...

My first 'favourite player' growing up was Gordon Banks (I was 7) and sort of supported them without really knowing much about football. I saw the light not long afterwards. My first match was actually at Stoke when they played Santos in a friendly in 1969. Not bad when your first footballing...

Earliest City match attended by a forum member

30th August, 1969. Burnley (a)D1-1 (Ian Bowyer). Seems Stan Bowles played too and Jimmy Mundy was an unused sub. I remember their blond-haired goalie (Peter Mellor) and Franny telling me to f*ck off when asking for an autograph afterwards. Joe Mercer was lovely though and said he loved the Lake...

    "The Keeper"

Got Spike on and some Steven Seagall shit is on. It says 'The Keeper' on the info screen though, what gives?

Do you remember the first City game you ever attended.

Burnley away September, 1969. Ian Bowyer scored in a 1-1 draw. Got Joe Mercer's autograph afterwards (lovely man) whilst Franny Lee told us to eff off. First home game a school trip (from Cumbria) in October, 1971. A Lee penalty beat Everton 1-0. 'Last' game (yes, I'm a part-timer now) the FA...

    New Kits 2018/19

What has been your worst moment following our club?

Too numerous to mention (sadly) but my earliest was blowing the league in 71-72 when we were cruising and playing well. And finished fourth! And strangely, as already mentioned, the recent loss to the rags jarred enormously. Could and should have stuffed the feckers. Oh, and Sunderland in the...

    New official City website

Have you seen their latest effort at photoshopping players' heads onto the new kit? Appallingly shoddy and very amateurish. Can't believe how crap the site now is.
