Anyone on an early flight back home this morning....taksim is gridlocked at present. I am on the hava 16 bus and its gone about 400m in 40 minutes. I am on an 8am so not worried....yet... Edit once out of taksim it's fine

Nightmare. I risked it on the metro and was back at Taksim an hour ago. The bus on the way to the match was shocking so that made me mind up. Just about to get the havaist bus from taksim to airport for £4 for 8am flight. Looks like there might be a lot of last minute panics at the airport later!

They are activated at the ground. Watch the YouTube video and it tells you that. Someone needs to start a "Ticket not active until you get to the ground" thread as until you watch the video it can freak people out lol

If anyone is on the 8:05am back from IST Sunday to Gatwick and needs a lift back up to Manchester area PM me. Only downside is its an electric car so I will need a 45 min stop off halfway to charge up.

Easiest way to get back from Yenikapi which the free uefa buses drop us off at at 3am Sunday am to Taksim square? Any ideas? My flight back is 8am so need a quick dart to hotel to checkout and havibus back to IST airport....
