    North Stand Expansion

When the South Stand was extended they added an additional small block of seats to the East and West. Is this not happening with the new North Stand? It will play havoc with my OCD is the two biggest stands are slightly lopsided.

City were on the verge of having a reliable digital ticket system but chose chaos

I was using Chrome and it wouldn't allow me to select any tickets to transfer. However this morning I used Edge and that worked. Looks like an issue with browser.

Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Thread

As demonstrated last night, we need a roof that covers level 1. I would like to see a whole new roof that is translucent and lets loads of light in but more importantly, keeps people dry.

    Gas & Electricity

I am lucky, I got a fixed rate before all this kicked off. I am in a electricity only flat. Looking at my app with daily meter readings and changing my usage behaviour over the year, then forecasting my energy to the end of the year, I think I will be down 19% in actual usage for the year...

    Compulsory Voting: Yes or No?

I lived in Australia for a while, some people would queue up to vote and draw a giant dick over the paper. Just to avoid the fine for not voting. I used to argue with people in the office that it is your democratic right not to vote if you thought none of them deserved your vote. The only...

Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Thread

Seb Coe had it designed for the upper tier to be removed and it be a Athletics Stadium a fitting size for future use. The person to blame at fitting a square peg into a round hole at the tax payers expense is the Mayor of London at the time Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson.

    Media thread 2022/23

BBC article about the discrepancy between mens and womens wages uses City as an example. Doesn't give us credit for pumping more money into the Womens game though. Why is there such a huge discrepancy? You need to follow the money to find out. The amount of money clubs bring in is the key...

    Media thread 2022/23

They are not retractable seats, they are demountable as they are on scaffolding over the original. The Olympic Stadium in Sydney has real retractable seats where the entire stand is on rails and moves back to allow use for athletics. Somebody somewhere has trousered a fortune. Another Boris...

    UEFA Independent Inquiry

I had a mate who was a dipper season ticket holder go to that match. He says that as it was an athletics stadium there were no turnstiles, as the tickets were manually checked they were then thrown back into the crowd to allow another in and so on. He got to his seat and there were already...

Racist podcast rant - Arsenal fan & 'Comedian' Alan Davies not happy with us

After the League Cup win over Arsenal a few years ago, I was minding my own business on the tube back into the city as I worked there then. Arsenal fans saw my shirt under my coat and for a few stops they were muttering 'bought it' in my direction. Eventually one got brave and came over to me...

    Electric cars

I am lucky and live near a Super Charger and use that when low and need to 'fill up'. If I go to the supermarket, I hook up for a slow (but free) bit of charge (who wouldn't want free fuel). I went to Brighton away a few weeks ago, the charging stops on the motorway aligned with my bladder...
