Same here. I'm sure Mendes has a private jet which I'd expect would be used in transfer situations to ensure they are kept discrete. Bernie traveling to Barca by a standard airline doesn't sit right, as it would raise too much suspicion.

I'd be surprised if he didn't have a release clause. Be interesting to know if he does and how much it is.

This. I suspect buying Bellingham next summer is one reason we've accumulated so much from sales this year. Means we have the funds in the bank to move quickly next year, to hopefully fend off any competition from the Dippers or others.

If he went anywhere this summer I'd prefer he went to PSG. Aside from the obvious financial situation at Barca, PSG getting Bernie would, I suspect, rule them out of buying FDJ, therefore stiffing over Barca on two counts (missing out on Bernie and no one to buy FDJ). I'd leave Barca to fester...

Last holiday abroad we had pre-covid was Playa Blanca. Superb family holiday. Had our honeymoon in Costa Caleta and loved the place.
