Decided against it... really not worth it today.

Planning to leave Edinburgh at 10.00 and driving down with the family but doubt I'll risk it? Decisions, decisions??

I'm not working, but getting up at six to head to the Pentland Hills (south of Edinburgh) to watch the sun rise. Did it last year and it was great... I'll catch up on missed alcohol when I get back! Hogmanay/New Year's Night is wank.

Unfortunately I most resemble Mr Bean. Had a chatty FOC on the train call be that a few weeks back@

If you like the hills The Pentland Hills which frame the south of the city are an understated gem. A bus from the city centre to Flotterstone shouldn't take long and you get an amazing view of Edinburgh from the tops. I live in South Queensferry which is very popular with tourists and cruise...

In the hotel now in Kings Cross cheesy. Gonna find a Wethys for breakfast and ale and get on it. Just hoping I survive until kick off!

So far been in a car, a taxi, a plane and on a bus today. Next stop Liverpool Street and a tube. The three pints at Edinburgh Airport already seem to be wearing off!!
