I'd drop Haaland and play with a False 9 tonight.
Maximum control of possession and protect backline until the home leg. No need to go all guns blazing tonight
An improved display last night and our high press was much more effective in comparison to the Arsenal game.
Doku has such quick feet but his distribution still concerns me and even under no pressure some of his passes are loose.
Rodri is the best midfielder in the World and could play as a...
Yaya had more spectacular highlights and was unstoppable on his day but after he's retired Rodri will probably go down as the best to ever play the position.
The comparison between Rodri and Rice is laughable
It was definitely Maine road. And I think they were 4-0 after about 35mins. Think Kanu was up front
Their players looked a little embarrased when we began to clap
Let the expectation ramp up on them. They've flown a bit under the radar but the more pressure gets heaped on them the better.
They have some outstanding players, Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli, Rice & Saliba. I think the rest are pretty average
I'd be very surprised if the American owners get rid of Kompany this early. I believe they had a 3 year plan to get back into the Prem and to play an attractive style of football. They got back at the first attempt under Kompany so are well ahead of schedule even if they go back down
At times he looks lost in midfield, unsure of where he's meant to be. Would be better to be used on the wing until he becomes more accustomed to the system.
It would not surprise me if Harris is a 'flat earther'. He's already got his (guilty) conclusion and is tailoring and cherry picking elements of information to support said conclusion.
Her article in the Guardian about Pep approximately four years ago was equally poorly reasoned. She asserted that in order to be regarded equal to Klopp, Pep needed to secure another Champions League victory.
Maybe I'm missing something, but I cannot understand the clamour for Rice. I've not watched him extensively but what does he actually do well to justify that monumental price tag? Personally I think Phillips is the better footballer
Phillips doesn't look fit enough to me, which may be a result of his injuries. His confidence is shot and when he plays, he hides on the pitch. In his position he should be demanding the ball but he's far too passive at the moment
