Premier League Games 23/24 Sept '23

What in the world was James McAtee thinking when he forced a loan move to Sheffield United. Shambles of a team, and no way he's gonna improve fighting relegation all the time.

    United Thread - 2023/24

I'm not well-versed with FFP, but the article states - "only €15m (£12.8m) of the €281m (£240.5m) of revenues lost due to the pandemic WITHIN the FFP calculation" Elsewhere it is written, "Because of the way UEFA treated Covid issues, they committed a very minor breach of FFP rules. It's...

    Benjamin Pavard

From a German website, allegedly - The 26-year-old, a veteran of the triumph in 2018 (World Cup), is accused of making inappropriate remarks about his teammates, creating a toxic atmosphere in the dressing room, arguing with Didier Deschamps and the coaching staff, and even leaking details to...

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Raphael Guerreiro goes on a free to Bayern. Dortmund should just rebrand itself as Bayern's 2nd team from now on.

    Pitch invasions

I did see a few break the cordon, and stewards running after them, ready to tackle them if they did try something. And the goal posts were intact only because there were 3-4 stewards right in front, blocking fans from reaching the goal posts.

    Pitch invasions

£260,000 fine for the last pitch invasion, who knows how much fine it will multiply to for a repeated violation, or worse.

    Media thread 2022/23

I don't see why City can't sue them to oblivion for defamation, at the very least get them bankrupt so they won't have time to open their mouths again!

Premier League (midweek) Games 2/3/4 May '23

I saw Sterling walking around many times as the ball passed him by, as if he was disinterested in the game. Should have been hooked at half time. I have no idea why Lampard kept him till the 60th minute

    Corruption in English football?

Because two of the Southamptom players had 'cramps' aka timewasting, the ref decided to add extra to the extra time. You don't see this logic applied in the City games!

Premier League Games 21/22/23 April '23

Yes, but when they suddenly start applying it NOW, when they could have implemented it at the start of the season, or even after the World Cup, when they do so on such title-deciding matches, it hints of bias. Wasn't there 7-8 minutes extra-time during half-time also? You just know it won't be...

Apart from that one goal, Salah has been really poor today. Losing the ball frequently, misplaced passes etc.. He plays like Messi whenever he plays against us!!

    Brentford (H) | Post-Match Thread

Ya, pissed off with this match ref (and the Liverpool one) where these refs decide on their own, instead of having a uniform refereeing standard.

No idea. Maybe I misheard or something..

Compared the Cancelo shove yesterday that resulted in a penalty, to the shove by TAA and asked why it was not a penalty. They were talking about the inconsistency of the refereeing.

Wolves PL (A) | Man of the Match

Voted Rodri. I felt he was superb defensively in the first half, managed to retrieve the ball multiple times when City was shaky in defense. Once the centre-backs calmed down, it was Akanji all the way. Dias was also solid later on.
