Who's the greatest American band of all time?

Never thought I'd see Drive She Said mentioned on Bluemoon, and apart from Journey stands out amongst the rest of your list. DRN too, great band in their day and keep threatening to reform give or take the odd show. Just listening to Blackfoot, Marauder and although not a greatest ever...

Who's the greatest American band of all time?

Why should we be ashamed, our opinion was asked and we gave it. A band that are still going strong 40 years later must have a say in "Who's the greatest American band of all time?" Not" which American band have the best musical ability?" If I go to a gig I want to be entertained, not stand...

They need Michael Anthony back too for the trademark backing vocals sound.

Who's the greatest American band of all time?

Sure that's on one of the Kissology dvd's? Worth getting all 3 of them btw. KISS were the reason I got into rock music, mustve been about 11 when my brother borrowed the Kiss Alive 2 LP from a mate and as soon as I saw the inside cover of the gatefold sleeve I had to know more.

Who's the greatest American band of all time?

NEC in 96 for me but MEN in 2010 for the Sonic Boom tour. Seen DLR a few times solo, like you say great showman, but last time I saw him he looked like Freddie Starr on stage. Wish threy'd come over here for one last tour but don't think it will happen,Van Hagar toured with Bon Jovi in 95 and EVH...

Who's the greatest American band of all time?

And another,First band I ever saw in 1983 and seen them a few times since. The reunion tour in 96 one of the best gigs ive been to. Van Halen got to be up there too, their debut album still gets a regular play. Van Hagar need not apply. No mention of Bon Jovi then? Get a lot of flak but fuck me...

The lost honour of Christopher Jeffries

Didn't see it, and I suppose its good that his story was told. But I thought it was poor timing so close to Christmas considering the victims body was found on Christmas Day.

    Cancer

Monday will be the first anniversary of our daughters passing, after an 8 month battle with a brain tumour. We're going to her school for a memorial service(although i won't be praising any god) and then planting a tree in her memory. Its just so unreal. We used to love life, now we just live it...

Anyone Else Falling Out of Love with Football?

I'm finding it hard to get into this season, mainly because the way City winning the title last season was made so underwhelming by the media because their darling Liverpool(Football Club just in case there's any confusion) fucked it up. It doesn't help that the games are broken up all time by...

    Talksport now (continued)

Great research today on Tlaksport, some may know a rock singer called Jimi Jamison passed away yesterday,so they played Eye of the Tiger by his former groiup Survivor. Trouble was he didn't sing it,ao they apologised. Saying it wasn't from Rocky 4,it was Rocky 2. Then every news bulletin they...

If that's aimed at me I suggest you read my posts in the thread. I have at no point said the family should've been arrested and I do sympathise with them. I agree they're under tremendous pressure as any of us who have been through it know. Everything happened so fast with us (symptoms and...

I agree if there is treatment elsewhere and you have the money or ability to get the money then you should take the opportunity. But surely the best and safest course of action would have been to sell his house first, organised the treatment(if possible) and then taken his son out of hospital?

Thanks mate, but I didn't post it for attention but more for our experiences. This is "trending" quite heavily on Facebook at the moment and turning into an NHS hate campaign by a few. Unfortunately Childrens Brain Tumour research in this country is only charity backed and the government wont...

    little Ashya

Our daughter died from a brain tumour last November after being diagnosed in March. She was in hospital just over 3 weeks after diagnosis and the doctors let her go home when they felt she was safe to be there. We had a long weekend holiday in July where we had to go to a destination where...
