    Fulham (A) - Sat 11th May, 12:30 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

I agree it would be tough to relay on Everton on the final day with nothing to play for, but I certainly trust Everton’s defense right now over United’s. We just have to hope United scores a few goals vs Arsenal on Sunday to not make GD completely out of the realm of possibility. Let’s get one...

Safe to say the Ramos experiment was a big failure. Spot seemed to get the best of him.

Big call to go with 22 year old Ramos in this situation for Enrique. Scored plenty in the month of April, but hasn't played much at all in the knockout stage of Champions League this year. I believe his performance will likely decide the tie, and his ability to link up with Mbappe.

    Fulham (A) - Sat 11th May, 12:30 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Is there a number any of you have thought about to make catching Arsenal on goal difference a possibility? One would assume we need to win by at the least (4) on Saturday. Fulham have given up (55) on the season. Far from a stout defense on top of having nothing to play for. That would get us...

I’m honestly curious, if you don’t use third party websites to get an understanding of a players “value” on the open market, then how do you deem if City is paying a fair deal when it comes to transfers? I understand the transfer market is one of the most unique things in world sport, but I...

Alright, good talk. Just trying to show that third party websites don’t show him at value near £85M. Hopefully I’m wrong and he kills it for us. It would be great to see.

Transfermarkt has him at £65M FotMob has him £72M I would agree £60M was probably a tad low. I just don’t believe paying £85M for a 27 year old at the start of next season, who I’m not 100% sure would be nailed on to start every week for City is good business.

    Lucas Paquetá

My bad. I was being an American and speaking in $ Correct, that it would be less then £100 Regardless, in a fair market he is closer to £60 territory at his age and pedigree, but West Ham will likely not even entertain a discussion for less then release clause value.

Will be 27 by start of next season. I really hope we don’t go 100M range for him. He is a solid player, but I would feel much better spending 100M range if he was U23 range. Pep seems to love him though so I trust his judgement, just think the price is way out of whack for a player I’m not sure...

    18 | Stefan Ortega - 2023/24

Likely only way it would happen if Saudi comes calling. Brentford paid 13M for Flekken last year We shouldn't sell for less then that at the very least.

    18 | Stefan Ortega - 2023/24

Mostly agree. Only way it makes sense to sell is if he informs the club he isn't signing any extension, and someone comes in with an offer over 20M It would be tough to turn down that cash for a player that won't be with us in 12 months time.

    18 | Stefan Ortega - 2023/24

If he does truly want to move on this summer for a number one position, the club better hold out for at least 25M range. Transfermarkt has his value at 9m, which would be a ridiculous evaluation. He has five more years of prime goalkeeping ahead of him. Very interesting decision the club has, if...

For the life of me couldn't figure out why he was sent to the bench for the better part of two months after he played very well vs Burnley at Home. Hopefully his good form continues

Watching how easy it is for United down the right side of Liverpool’s defense right now, makes it even more awful that we wasted 70 mins with Alvarez out there. Shit

Champions League - QF: Real Madrid, SF: Arsenal/Bayern, (H) for 2nd legs

This is now four years out of five that we have played them in the knockout stage. Memorable performances by both clubs over those years. If that isn't a "rivalry" I'm not sure what is.

Champions League - QF: Real Madrid, SF: Arsenal/Bayern, (H) for 2nd legs

Agreed, but that is also because we have likely been the best side European football has ever seen over the past five seasons. Madrid on the other hand continue to be incredibly impressive at the Bernabeu even when thier squad isn't top notch. Just my two cents

Champions League - QF: Real Madrid, SF: Arsenal/Bayern, (H) for 2nd legs

Don't you think "we've not lost a European game there for 5 years" is another reason why we would always want the second leg at home? Yes, the away goal rule not being removed five or even ten years prior may have cost us another (2) Champions Leagues in my opinion...but nothing we can do about...
